What's that?
I love that after a day when nothing is sure, and when I say "nothing" I mean nothing,
you can come home and absolutely know that if you add egg yolk to chocolate and sugar and milk, it will get thick. It's such a comfort.

だって、確かなものなんて「何もない」一日の終わりに…、しかもね、私が「何もない」っていったら、ほんとに何もないわけよ。そんな日でも、家に帰って、チョコレートとお砂糖とミルクに卵黄を混ぜれば確実に、クリームになって固まるって絶対に分かるんだもの。それってほんとにほっとするわ。
